Shipping and Delivery Policy

This Shipping and Delivery Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered when you shop at Dabda Ji (www.dabdaji.com).


1. Delivery Areas

·         We currently deliver across India to serviceable PIN codes.

·         Some remote or out-of-coverage locations may have limited delivery options, higher delivery timelines, or may not be serviceable.

·         International shipping is not available at this time.

Our logistics operations are supported by reputed third-party courier partners, including RapidShyp (rapidshyp.com) and others, depending on your location and order type.


2. Shipping Charges

·         Shipping charges are calculated based on multiple factors, including:

o    Delivery location (PIN code)

o    Order value

o    Product weight and volumetric weight

·         The applicable shipping charge (if any) will be clearly displayed at checkout before you make the payment.

·         From time to time, we may offer free shipping on orders above a certain cart value or under special promotions. Any such offers will be clearly mentioned on our website/app or applicable promotional material.


3. Order Processing and Dispatch

·         Orders are usually processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days after successful payment confirmation, subject to product availability and order volume.

·         Business days exclude Sundays and public holidays.

·         In case of any delay in processing (for example, stock issues, address clarification, etc.), we will attempt to inform you via email/SMS/phone, where feasible.


4. Delivery Timelines

·         Standard delivery typically takes 3–7 business days from the date of dispatch, depending on your location and courier serviceability.

·         Metro cities and major towns may receive deliveries sooner, while remote or distant locations may require additional time.

·         Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to:

o    Courier operational constraints

o    Weather conditions and natural disruptions

o    Public holidays, festivals, or strikes/bandhs

o    Regulatory checks or other unforeseen circumstances

Dabdaji is not liable for delays caused by courier partners, logistics disruptions, or force majeure events beyond our reasonable control.


5. Delivery Process

·         Orders will be delivered to the shipping address provided by you at the time of checkout.

·         Please ensure that the address, landmark, and PIN code are accurate and complete to avoid delays or non-delivery.

·         We recommend providing an active mobile number so the courier partner can contact you if needed and to receive delivery updates.

·         In most cases, the courier partner will make one or more delivery attempts. If you are unavailable:

o    They may contact you by phone or SMS.

o    They may reschedule delivery for another day, subject to their policy.

·         Ownership and risk in the products pass to you once the order is delivered to the provided address and marked as delivered by the courier.

We are not responsible for failed deliveries if:

·         The address or contact details provided are incorrect/incomplete.

·         The recipient is not available at the time of delivery.

·         The delivery is refused at the address.


6. Order Tracking

·         Once your order is dispatched, you will receive shipment and tracking details via email and/or SMS, including:

o    Courier partner name

o    Tracking ID

·         If you face any issues with tracking your order or if the tracking status appears abnormal for an extended period, please contact our customer support for assistance.


7. Undeliverable and RTO (Return to Origin) Shipments

Your order may be treated as undeliverable and returned to us (RTO – Return to Origin) in cases such as:

·         Incorrect or incomplete address details

·         Repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts

·         Refusal to accept the delivery

·         Unreachable contact number

In such cases:

·         The order will be considered as refused/undelivered.

·         As per our No Returns and No Refund policy and food safety guidelines, products once dispatched and returned as RTO may not be reshipped or refunded, except at our sole discretion.

·         Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.


8. Packaging and Quality

·         All orders are packed using secure, food-grade packaging to maintain product quality and safety during transit.

·         We take utmost care to ensure products reach you in good condition.

·         If you receive a package that appears damaged, opened, or tampered with, please:

o    Take clear photographs of the package and products.

o    Refer to our Cancellation and Refund Policy for the process to report such issues within 24 hours of delivery.
